Saudi Announces 4 Day Holiday For Eid Ul Fitr!

Hera Shabbir

Great news, everyone!

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has just announced that private and non-profit sector employees in Saudi Arabia are getting a four-day holiday for Eid Al-Fitr this year!

The celebrations officially kick off at the end of the workday on Saturday, Ramadan 29 (March 29), and the holiday fun will last for four days! That means plenty of time to enjoy Eid feasts, visit family and friends, and soak in the festive vibes.

Just a heads-up: Employers must stick to the rules outlined in paragraph 2 of Article 24 of the Labor Law’s executive regulations—so no last-minute surprises!

Time to start planning your Eid outfits and feast menus!
