Saudi Arabia Calls On Health Practitioners And The Elderly To Get The New COVID Jab

A few countries around the world have been reporting a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases, and now the Saudi health authorities are calling on all vulnerable groups to roll up their sleeves and get the latest COVID jab.

Six categories of people have been asked to take the jabs, including those 50 and older, health practitioners dealing directly with patients, people with chronic immunosuppressive diseases (including active cancer), and the obese.


This comes about a month after the JN.1 variant of COVID-19 was first detected in the country.
