Saudi Arabia is going all out to host the World Expo in 2030, with close to 80 countries, as per the last count, backing its bid to host it. It dropped a glimpse of what it set out to do with the World Expo, and boy is it something that the world has never seen.

The official account of Riyadh Expo 2030 dropped a promo video on Twitter titled ‘Riyadh is ready’.
It will run under the theme ‘The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow.’

The organisers promise it to be ‘the most connected Expo ever.’

The expo site is massive, covering about seven square kilometres and featuring a ‘Loop of the World’ avenue connecting pavilions from over 220 countries. The master plan revealed in Paris shows exhibition pavilions that are designed in a unique spherical shape, and they’ll be placed side by side.

With Riyadh Metro and a modern road network connecting everything, moving around the Expo will be a breeze. Plus, the site is located just 5 minutes from the airport.

As per the master plan, Riyadh Expo 2030 is going to be the most interactive, collaborative, and sustainable Expo ever. They’re going all eco-friendly with solar energy and resource efficiencies.
