Saudi Arabia Launches A New Card That Will Grant Priority Medical Care To The Elderly

Avatar

The Ministry of Health just launched a super cool digital card called “Priority” for Saudis who are 60 and above, as per a report in the Saudi Gazette. They’re trying it out on their Sehhaty app, and get this—it’s totally hassle-free. There is no need to print anything or go through a complicated application process. Just the Sehaty app will do.

The ministry wants everyone to know that they’re serious about making life easier for our elderly citizens. They’ve asked all the hospitals and health centers across the kingdom to roll out the red carpet for anyone with the “priority” card.

The card, as the name suggests, will give them priority access to all the health services they need. Time to say goodbye to long waiting periods at hospitals.

But wait, there’s more. This nifty card is not just about medical stuff. It’s also here to help our seniors move around healthcare facilities more easily. Plus, it’s all about better communication and coordination when it comes to medicines, medical equipment, and devices. They’re really going all out to make sure our elderly population gets the best care possible.

Looks like it’s time for the elderly to enjoy some well-deserved perks and get the care they deserve.
