Saudi Arabia Reportedly Sips 36 Million Cups Of Coffee On The Daily!

Move over, espresso capitals, Saudi Arabia is giving the world a serious caffeine glow-up!

The Kingdom now sips on an estimated 36 million cups of coffee every single day, according to the Saudi Restaurants and Cafés Association!

That’s not just a lot of coffee…that’s a $1.3 to $1.9 billion daily buzz keeping the nation wired and thriving. But this coffee craze isn’t just about taste. It’s a lifestyle. With nearly 70% of Saudis under 35, the youth are fueling a culture where cafés aren’t just spots to grab a cup, they’re the place to hang out, catch up, and sip in style. From sleek international chains to cozy neighborhood spots, the coffee scene is booming, one cup at a time.

Considering how this many coffee spots exist just in Riyadh…the numbers add up…

Saudi Arabia’s population now sits at 35.3 million, including 19.6 million Saudis and 15.7 million non-Saudis, plenty of people to keep the coffee machines humming! And with over 61,000 café licenses issued nationwide, including 27,000 for traditional neighborhood shops, it’s clear: coffee is officially a national obsession.

Whether it’s for the morning pick-me-up, an afternoon catch-up, or just a reason to flex your favorite mug, Saudi Arabia is proving that life truly runs on coffee!!!!
