Saudi Arabia Unveils 5 Host Cities For FIFA World Cup 2034 Bid

FIFA has just revealed the thrilling details of Saudi Arabia’s bold bid to host the largest-ever FIFA World Cup in a single country! This exciting announcement follows the Kingdom’s official bid submission at a vibrant ceremony in Paris.With the slogan “Growing. Together.” receiving a full thumbs-up from Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, the bid showcases Saudi Arabia’s massive plans and state-of-the-art infrastructure projects.

The bid outlines five proposed host cities for the 2034 tournament: Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha, and the futuristic NEOM

These cities will feature 15 cutting-edge stadiums, with 11 brand-new ones in the works. Riyadh is set to be a main hub of excitement with eight stadiums, including the spectacular King Salman Stadium, boasting a capacity of over 92,000 and slated to host the opening and final matches.

The new stadium in Riyadh will accommodate more than 70,000 fans. The Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Riyadh will offer an amazing triple-tiered view of the stunning Tuwaiq cliffs, featuring a futuristic design. The revamped King Fahad Sports City Stadium will accommodate more than 70,000 fans.

Saudi Arabia will also offer over 230,000 rooms across the five host cities, meeting FIFA’s requirements

A total of 132 training venues across 15 cities are proposed, including 72 stadiums designated as Base Camp Training Sites.To top it off, the bid outlines ten proposed FIFA Fan Festival sites, with FIFA picking one spot in each host city. Some highlights include King Salman Park in Riyadh, Jeddah Waterfront, Al Bihar square in Abha, the marina within THE LINE in NEOM, and King Abdullah Park in Al Khobar.
