Saudi Arabia’s Ramadan 2025 Initiative: Distributing 1.2 Million Qur’ans Worldwide
Saudi Arabia has approved the distribution of 1.2 million copies of the Holy Qur’an to 45 countries. This initiative, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aims to make the Qur’an accessible to Muslims around the globe.
The distribution plan includes sending copies of the Qur’an and their interpretations in 79 languages to Islamic and cultural centers, as well as religious attaché offices at Saudi embassies worldwide. This effort ensures that Muslims, regardless of their native language, can engage with the Qur’an’s teachings during the holy month.Minister of Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering support. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has completed all preparations to ship the Qur’ans to the beneficiary countries. Coordinating with religious attaché offices, ministry-affiliated centers, and various Islamic councils and organizations, the ministry aims to ensure that the Qur’ans reach recipients in time for Ramadan.
