Saudi Braces For Third Cold Wave With Seriously Freezing Temperatures

Winter isn’t done yet! Saudi Arabia is bracing for its third cold wave of the season, and it’s set to make parts of the Kingdom shiver this Wednesday and Thursday.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), temperatures are expected to plunge between 3°C and as low as -1°C in some regions

Yes, that’s officially freezing!

The chill won’t spare anyone: areas like Al Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, and Riyadh are all in the cold wave zone. So, it’s time to dust off those cozy scarves, sip on some hot cocoa, and enjoy the frosty vibes.

This isn’t the first icy blast of 2025. Earlier in December, Hail recorded a historic -10°C, and Tabuk even saw snowfall…making it a winter to remember!

The NCM warns residents to stay careful during early mornings and late nights, when temperatures will dip the lowest.

So whether you’re out enjoying the crisp winter air or staying in with a blanket and a warm drink, one thing’s clear: Saudi winter is not holding back this year!
