A Saudi Business Tycoon Buys SR120 Million Worth Of Camels At The King Abdulaziz Camel Festival!

Avatar

If you thought Cristiano Ronaldo’s estimated SR800 million deal was big, wait until you see this recent purchase in Riyadh.

Okay, technically the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival is taking place 120 km to the north of Riyadh, so it isn’t exactly in Riyadh, but you get the point, right?

The fest still has over a week to go, but this might as well be the biggest deal that it will record. As of now, it’s the biggest purchase of its kind in the Gulf.

According to Asharq Alawsat, Saudi businessman Abdullah Al-Nahdi has inked a deal to buy 12 camels for SR 120 million.

That’s almost like buying 12 Bugattis that sell for a price that’s somewhere in that range.

By the way, the deal coincided with Ronaldo’s transfer deal. There’s clearly lots happening in Riyadh ATM.
