Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman’s Wife Donates 10 Million To Diabetic Children

On World Diabetes Day (Nov. 14), Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah bint Mashhour, wife of the Crown Prince, made a generous donation of SR10 million to the Children with Type 1 Diabetes Support Fund, launched by the Saudi Health Endowment Fund.

This significant gift aims to:

  • Provide children with Type 1 Diabetes access to the latest care and treatment.

  • Improve their quality of life and ease the burden on their families.

The donation will specifically help provide modern insulin pumps, which are advanced treatment solutions that enable children to manage their blood sugar effectively and lead safer daily lives, often reducing the need for multiple daily injections

The Fund’s initial phase aims to support 600 children annually by providing these crucial devices.

Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajel, expressed profound thanks, highlighting that the Princess’s continued generosity reflects the deeply rooted values of solidarity and giving within Saudi society. He emphasized that this support will have a tangible impact on healthcare for children with diabetes.

The Fund’s efforts, including over SR72 million in total donations this year, have already provided health services to more than 3,000 beneficiaries across the Kingdom, showing strong community trust in its mission.
