Saudi Donated $15 Million For The UNRWA Emergency Aid In Gaza

Hera Shabbir

The UNRWA is currently the only international humanitarian organization equipped to deliver supplies to people in the Gaza Strip, and Saudi sent in its donations.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) donated a sum of $15 million for Palestinians in Gaza

The hefty donation, worth SAR 56,260,440,  aims to provide emergency aid services and shelter to affected groups promptly, in line with Saudi’s solidarity with the Palestinian people. The Kingdom previously sent planes with tonnes of goods, shelter supplies, and food to the people in Gaza.  Over thousands of people, including women and children, have been killed in ongoing Israeli Air strikes and attacks, causing overwhelming damage to Palestinians. Many have been displaced from their homes, lost loved ones, and are now suffering from starvation and dehydration. The hefty donation is hoping to provide adequate aid to those suffering from such horrific conditions.

The Kingdom, along with other nations, has also been pushing for a ceasefire
