Saudi Embassy In The US Calls For Investigation After Jeff Bezos Hacking Accusations

Avatar

The Twitter account of the kingdom’s US embassy denied recent accusations published in the Guardian of responsibility for hacking Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos’ phone.

The tweet reads “Recent media reports that suggest the kingdom is behind the hacking of Mr. Jeff Bezos’ phone are absurd. We call for an investigation on these claims so that we can have all the facts out”

One of the Twitter users replied that 99% of the accusations against Saudi Arabia are based on anonymous and fake sources. He wondered why no evidence has been presented to support such claims and called it a smear campaign sponsored by the enemies of Prince Mohammed in the ME and the West.

Mansour Al Otaiby tweeted: “Saudi Arabia can’t be accused of everything that happens in the world”

One Twitter user reacted to the embassy’s tweet, saying: “This attack on Saudi Arabia by the media is disgusting because there is no real evidence or source of this information”

Another user tweeted that he is confident there is a strong judiciary system in the USA
