Saudi Embassy In USA Warns Citizens Of Life-Threatening Hurricane Milton

The Kingdom’s embassy in the U.S. has issued an urgent advisory for Saudis in Florida and nearby states as Hurricane Milton intensifies, now reaching Category 5 status while heading toward the region.

Saudis are urged to adhere to guidelines set by state authorities in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas

As of 3 a.m. Saudi time, Milton was located more than 700 kilometers southwest of Tampa, packing winds of 265 kph. It is anticipated to make landfall sometime on Wednesday or Thursday. Officials have ordered millions to evacuate ahead of the storm, which is being described as the strongest to hit the Gulf of Mexico since 2005.
