Ahmed Al-Suwailem, CEO of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector, announced the achievement during COP16, marking it as a pivotal moment in the Kingdom’s transformation journey.

This impressive accomplishment aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to promote volunteering and community engagement

“Today, we celebrate a monumental achievement,” Al-Suwailem shared. “Thanks to the unwavering support of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, we’ve exceeded expectations and reached this target before the end of 2024.”

Originally set for 2030, the volunteer target reflects a strategic push to redefine community participation within the Kingdom
