Saudi Housing Authority Begins Nationwide Home Handovers!

Saudi has officially begun handing over homes to citizens across the Kingdom, marking a major milestone in the country’s efforts to expand home ownership and improve quality of life

The Developmental Housing Foundation announced on Sunday that the first homes are now being delivered as part of the Jood Eskan housing initiative, implemented through the Sakan program.

This nationwide rollout follows direct directives from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who has personally donated SAR 1 billion  to support the initiative

The contribution is aimed at helping eligible families secure stable housing and easing the financial burden of home ownership, reinforcing the Kingdom’s broader social development goals.

According to Sakan, the current handovers represent the first phase of a larger delivery plan that will see homes distributed in six phases across all regions of Saudi

The approach is designed to ensure fairness, efficiency, and timely access for beneficiaries nationwide. To streamline the process, Sakan has introduced a monthly distribution schedule that will cover two regions per phase, allowing for smoother coordination and faster delivery.

The timeline also reflects a clear mandate from the Crown Prince to complete allocated housing projects within a maximum period of 12 months, while maintaining high standards of quality, transparency, and governance.

Officials emphasized that these standards are central to ensuring long-term value for families and sustainable development for communities.
