Saudi Arabia is once again extending its generosity to the world this Ramadan by distributing 700 tonnes of dates to over 100 countries

The initiative, part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Program for Providing Dates, ensures that communities worldwide can enjoy this symbolic and nourishing treat during the holy month.

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance will oversee the distribution through the Kingdom’s embassies, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting Muslims worldwide

This year’s shipment marks a notable increase from 2024, when 500 tons were distributed.

Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh expressed gratitude for the leadership’s commitment to serving global Muslim communities. He emphasized that this initiative is part of the Kingdom’s broader mission to promote the values of Islam, counter extremism, and foster unity.
