The kit provides essential information on how to avoid heat exhaustion—a common risk during the summer Hajj season—including advice to use umbrellas, stay hydrated, and limit sun exposure.

It also offers detailed guidelines on the vaccinations required for pilgrims, depending on their country of origin. These include vaccines for meningococcal meningitis, COVID-19, polio, and yellow fever.

To further ensure safety, the ministry recommends that pilgrims with chronic health conditions bring medical documentation and sufficient supplies of their medications in original packaging

The awareness kit also encourages pilgrims to update their vaccines for diseases like diphtheria, tetanus, measles, and chickenpox.

The content includes videos, printable materials, and social media posts, making it easy for everyone to access and share. Pilgrims can download the full kit from the official Ministry of Health website here.
