Marking 30 years of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program, this historic gathering brought together twins from 26 countries, symbolizing a legacy of hope and healing.
On behalf of King Salman, Riyadh Emir Prince Faisal bin Bandar inaugurated the International Conference on Conjoined Twins, coinciding with the International Day of Conjoined Twins on November 24
In his address, Prince Faisal highlighted Saudi Arabia’s unwavering dedication to humanitarian medical advancements. “Over three decades, the Saudi National Program for Conjoined Twins has become a global model, performing 61 successful separations and transforming lives,” he stated.
The program, driven by world-class expertise and rooted in Islamic principles of compassion, has cared for 143 cases from around the globe

Its achievements have positioned Saudi Arabia as the only nation with a specialized program of this scale. Inspired by this success, Saudi Arabia championed the recognition of November 24 as the International Day of Conjoined Twins to raise awareness and promote international collaboration in this field.
The conference also featured a vibrant exhibition and the signing of nine agreements between KSrelief and global humanitarian organizations
