Al-Qurashi’s victory, achieved with a personal best time of 14.48 seconds, was a standout moment at the prestigious event held at Stade de France on Thursday.

The triumph was celebrated by the presence of Abdulaziz Baashen, CEO and Secretary General of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, who was among the delegation supporting Al-Qurashi. Reflecting on his achievement, Al-Qurashi expressed deep gratitude for the support received from Saudi leadership

“The backing from our leadership and the continuous encouragement from Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, motivated us to secure this gold for our beloved nation,” he said. His journey to the top began after the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, with Al-Qurashi acknowledging the crucial role played by his family, coaches, and staff.
