If you’re a medical student and were hoping to work in the Gulf, then Saudi is definitely your best bet. The salary goes up against big countries like the UK, Canada, Germany, France, and Italy.

The Kingdom reportedly has an average salary of 500,000 SAR/yearly for its doctors!

Switzerland took the number one spot with having a salary worth $388,623 (SAR 1,457,550)! That’s around 121,462 SAR per month! However, Saudi wasn’t so far behind and took sixth place with an average of SAR 41,600 per month, surpassing countries like Japan, France, Italy, Spain, and even China!

Saudi is also the only GCC country to make the list of high-salaries around the globe

Saudi also has one of the world’s most well-reputed hospitals, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC). Located in Riyadh, this hospital has actually been recognized as one of the top healthcare institutions in the world by Brand Finance’s 2023 ranking! The country also has other top-notch hospitals including King Abdulaziz Medical City, King Abdullah Medical City, King Fahd Medical City, and King Saud Medical City that are all top in many global rankings!
