This new Umrah season will begin with the Islamic New Year on Muharram 1. The initiative aims to streamline the arrival of pilgrims to the Kingdom and ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience.
The Ministry is diligently working to implement the directives of the Saudi leadership. Their goal is to accommodate more Umrah pilgrims and provide services that meet their needs and expectations. This effort reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the pilgrimage experience for Muslims worldwide.
Previously, the Ministry had paused the issuance of Umrah permits through the Nusuk application from May 23 for a month. This temporary suspension was intended to facilitate a smoother experience for Hajj pilgrims arriving from around the globe. As planned, the Nusuk App resumed issuing Umrah visas on Dhul Hijjah 15, which corresponded to June 21.
In its latest statement, the Ministry emphasized that the resumption of Umrah visa issuance will help manage the influx of pilgrims efficiently. The Ministry leverages its extensive experience to establish technical and field programs designed to support Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, ensuring their rituals are performed with ease.
This annual initiative, starting right after the Hajj season, underscores the Ministry’s dedication to facilitating and enhancing the pilgrimage experience for all.
