It was a night to remember as crowds gathered at Khalifa International Stadium last night to watch the ultimate Oman v Saudi football match. The greens took the lead with a 2-1 victory, after a unique header that was initially put into question.
Saudi’s Al Bulayhi scored the second goal with a close-range header put into question
The score was initially tied at 1-1, until Al-Bulayhi attempted a close-range header, however the linesman’s flag immediately went up for offside. The Virtual Assistant Referee then confirmed the greens did indeed win the goal, leading them to a 4-1 victory.
