This was confirmed by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in collaboration with the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques.

What’s even more amazing? Over 1.5 million pilgrims traveled from outside the Kingdom, turning Makkah and Madinah into a truly global gathering of faith!

Officials attribute this surge to streamlined digital systems and integrated logistical services that make the pilgrimage experience easier, smoother, safer, and more reassuring than ever. From planning your trip to performing rituals and returning home, Saudi Arabia is leveling up the Umrah journey in line with Vision 2030. The country’s commitment to enhancing the Hajj, Umrah, and visitation ecosystem ensures that worshippers enjoy a spiritually enriching experience, no matter where they come from. Tools like the Nusuk app, now with 30 million users across 190 countries, have made booking and navigating the pilgrimage more seamless than ever.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, together with the General Authority, continues to innovate new digital and operational systems, aiming to elevate every stage of the journey, from the moment pilgrims plan their visit to the moment they safely return home.
