Saudi Welcomes Visitors With Thousands Of Locally Printed Qur’ans Upon Arrival This Ramadan

This Ramadan, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, through its Makkah Al-Mukarramah branch, has made arriving in the Kingdom even more special for Umrah performers.

At the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, visitors got treated to the ultimate welcome!

More than 29,000 copies of the Holy Qur’an, produced by the renowned King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, have been distributed to all incomers!


The King Fahd Complex, located in Madinah, is a cornerstone in the world of Qur’anic publication. Since its establishment in 1985, it has produced over 128 million copies of the Qur’an, serving Muslims worldwide. With a dedicated team of approximately 1,700 employees, the complex produces about 10 million copies annually, including 55 different translations in 39 languages, ensuring accessibility for diverse linguistic communities.

Each copy distributed at the airport varies in size and translation, catering to the diverse backgrounds of the pilgrims

This heartfelt initiative not only provides spiritual nourishment but also symbolizes the Kingdom’s dedication to serving the visitors, enhancing their Umrah experience from the moment they arrive.
