Recognizing how calligraphy could be both entertaining and instructional, Abulfaraj created a game using large Arabic letters that children could arrange into words. This innovative approach led her to start a project dedicated to enriching children’s language learning experiences.

In 2020, she launched “Akwan,” meaning “universes” in Arabic, a set of magnetic bricks inspired by Arabic calligraphy. These interactive blocks make learning Arabic enjoyable and hands-on, sparking creativity among young learners. The game has since been featured at the Riyadh International Book Fair, where Abulfaraj showcased the endless possibilities “Akwan” offers for children’s learning.

Lujain credits the Ministry of Culture for its role in revitalizing the Arabic language and promoting young talent
