Saudi’s Ehsan Charity Platform Received More Than SR1 BILLION Donations This Ramadan

You read it right, not million not even just a billion, but MORE than 1.6 Billion Saudi Riyals have been donated to charity since the beginning of the holy month


That’s more than 500 MILLION US Dollars! The country’s National Program for Charitable Work, under the name Ehsan, is an initiative put forward by the crown prince to further promote charity and provide ease of access to the public. Residents and citizens can donate on the Ehsan application or even website, making it accessible worldwide.

This year’s donations were inagurated by King Salman with a generous 30 million Saudi Riyals


Around 5 million people have benefited from these donations including orphans, the elderly, the sick, and other minorities struggling in the country. Ramadan is all about giving, and Saudi is making it easy for everyone to do so. The Crown Prince and King have previously donated millions to the Ehsan platform, and are setting a great example to emphasize the importance of charity.
