COVID-19 had changed the world for years as the deadly virus spread globally like wildfire back in 2020. Cities and nations had shut down all public activity for months, as people lost lives, jobs, and opportunities to see their families during this difficult time. However, 2023 brought about a major comeback for all nations including Saudi Arabia in terms of business, travel, and recovery from the deadly virus. The Kingdom’s Ministry of Health actually posted a few pictures marking the end of the years-long fight against COVID-19.

The post showed some powerful imagery of a doctor shielding a young girl from the virus. MOH Saudi also posted a message on Twitter reading: It took from us, but it gave us a lot. Thanks to God, we learned to be aware and take care of our health and the health of those around us. Although the virus has lessened significantly over the years, the Ministry still urges residents of Saudi to try their best to maintain precautions.

The nation has come a long way from facing the deadly virus, to taking all necessary precautions to protect its residents. The Kingdom reminded the prime example set by Saudi’s health authorities and society when it came to precautions like vaccines, social distancing, remote-learning, and masks.
