Saudi’s Very Own Yasmine Idriss Became The First Arab Woman To Conquer Iceland’s Ring Road

Iceland’s famous Ring Road is a long stretch of gorgeous road that circles the entire country. It offers gorgeous views of valleys, mountains, rivers, and meadows! Saudi’s very own Yasmine Idriss, a cyclist, recently conquered this path on a 1,400km cycling journey!

She officially became the first Arab woman to complete this lengthy path!

She was recently interviewed by Arab News, where she unveiled the reasoning behind the journey, and her hopes to inspire Saudi women. The journey taught her a lot, as she told Arab News about the importance of rest and self-care, is quite important. She described her 20-day path as an ‘inward journey,’ discovering new things about facing new challenges and learning things about strength and capabilities.
