The Saudi Embassy in Ankara has released an official statement addressing widespread media reports and online speculation regarding the heartbreaking incident of a Saudi child who went missing after falling into the Haldizen River near the Turkish town of Uzungöl.

“From the very first moment of the incident, the Embassy—working closely with the child’s family—has been in constant communication with the relevant Turkish authorities to coordinate the search efforts,” the statement read.
“The Turkish authorities have responded swiftly and are carrying out intensive search operations in the area and its surroundings. We pray to God Almighty to guide these efforts to success and protect everyone from all harm.”
The embassy emphasized the importance of relying on verified information and urged the public to avoid spreading unconfirmed or inaccurate reports, particularly as the search remains ongoing.
