Season’s First Snowfall Drapes Northern Area Of Saudi Arabia

Hera Shabbir

Snow has blanketed Saudi Arabia’s northern Al-Jouf region since Friday, turning the area into a winter wonderland!

The snow, along with heavy rains and hailstorms, hit places like Sakaka and Dumat Al-Jandal

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) is forecasting more action, with chances of thunderstorms, strong winds, and limited visibility across Al-Jouf in the coming days. The governorates of Al-Qurayyat and Tabarjal are especially likely to see more rain, hail, and possibly torrents.

In response, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Al-Jouf has ramped up preparations to ensure safety amid these intense weather conditions
