Secure Your Spot! Itikaf Registration For Makkah And Madinah Opens March 5

Hera Shabbir

If you’ve been planning to spend the last ten days of Ramadan in deep worship at the Grand Mosque in Makkah or the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, here’s your chance!

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has announced that itikaf registration will officially open on Wednesday, March 5, at 11:00 AM via their official website

Spots are limited, and once they’re filled, registration will close, so it’s best to sign up early! Those who secure a spot will receive their permits through the same platform, following specific guidelines set by the authority.

Itikaf will begin on Ramadan 20 (March 20) and continue until Ramadan 30 (March 30)

For those unfamiliar, itikaf is a special act of devotion where a Muslim stays in the mosque, dedicating their time entirely to worship, reflection, and seeking closeness to God, just like the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did.

It’s a deeply spiritual experience, especially in the final ten days of Ramadan.

If you’re hoping to be part of this blessed opportunity, set your reminders and get ready to register!
