Saudi team comes to the rescue!

Eight-year-old Matilda’s life changed forever when she lost her legs during the war in Ukraine. Confined to a wheelchair, she dreamed of running and playing again, and in came Saudi’s top medical specialists.

Thanks to the Saudi Prosthetics Centre by KSrelief in Poland, Matilda’s journey to recovery began

Matilda’s path to healing was guided by a dedicated team of Saudi specialists, including orthopedic and rehabilitation doctors, prosthetic limb experts, and experienced physiotherapists. The team also had amazing volunteers who took care of everything from logistics to organizing fun activities at the center. Their compassion and expertise made all the difference, and that too for FREE!

From specialized prosthetics to heartfelt support, the Saudi medical team gave her more than just new limbs—they gave her back her childhood.

Today, Matilda is walking again, her eyes shining with hope and courage!
