In a TikTok posted on her official account, the Tennis player answered the question of whether or not she felt safe when visiting the Kingdom. To her followers, she replied, “People ask me if I feel safe here in Saudi Arabia and if I am afraid to live here, and the answer is that I am not afraid and I feel completely safe.”

Tashbaeva stated, “I lived in America and I lived in Europe. However, Saudi Arabia is the safest country among those countries that I have visited so far.”

She emphasized on how she could ‘leave her phone’ outside, and it would be completely safe. She also said, “you can walk on the street without being bothered.” People swarmed to the comments supporting her opinion, with expats from Lebanon, Pakistan, and even Saudi nationals. Majority agrees that Saudi Arabia is quite a safe country for all expats.
