Remember that video of women jamming with tambourines in the back of a moving pickup truck that went viral all over social media last week? Well, it turns out that the driver who was driving them has since been arrested, according to the Gulf News.

More details about the incident have since also surfaced; apparently, the women were part of a wedding procession down in southern Saudi Arabia—Jizan, to be precise.

The traffic authorities busted the driver for breaking the rules. They charged him with carrying passengers in a place not meant for passengers and driving a vehicle with a busted number plate.

They impounded the truck and sent the owner to the traffic department to deal with the consequences. According to Saudi traffic law, giving passengers a ride in non-designated spots can land you a fine between SR500 and SR900.
