Iran and Saudi Arabia have finally ended their long-standing diplomatic rift after signing a historic Chinese-brokered deal in March to resume their diplomatic relations. As part of the agreement, the Iranian embassy in Saudi Arabia has opened the gates of its embassy in Riyadh for the first time in seven years.
This is being seen by many as a new era of diplomacy in the Middle East.
The move comes just days after the foreign ministers of both countries met in Beijing for the first formal gathering of their top diplomats.
