The Green Riyadh project is one of the most ambitious afforestation projects in the world and was launched recently.

The program was launched as part of Vision 2030

The project aims to expand green spaces in Saudi Arabia by expanding afforestation in all regions of the Kingdom with sustainable water usage.

It will also encourage people in Saudi Arabia to get more in touch with their outdoors.

And the project has already made major strides

The project will focus on creating large parks and also making educational, academic, health and public spaces greener

So much has already been done in a year!
