The Saudi Ambassador In Spain Warns Citizens Against Flaunting Valuables After A Saudi Editor Was Robbed In The Country

The Saudi ambassador in Spain just put out a warning telling Saudi citizens to be smart and not show off their expensive stuff while they’re in Spain. They want people to be careful and not attract any unwanted attention.
This whole thing started because Saudi editor Faisal Abbas got attacked and robbed in Barcelona.

He was rocking a fancy watch, and some thieves targeted him. He even took to Twitter to share his story and give a piece of advice to all the travellers out there: “Don’t wear valuables!” Luckily, he only ended up with a little bruise on his wrist and lost the watch.

In response to the incident, Ambassador Azzam bin Abdulkarim Al Qain stepped up and reminded everyone that the Saudi Embassy in Madrid and the Consulate General in Malaga are there to look out for their citizens and visitors in Spain. He even told them to register their passports on the embassy’s website when they arrive. That way, they can stay connected and get help if needed.
Ambassador Al Qain took to Twitter as well and made it clear that people need to be cautious during their time in Spain.

He straight-up said not to show off any valuable items that might catch the wrong kind of attention and lead to more unfortunate incidents. It’s all about staying safe and enjoying your trip without any trouble.
