The Spanish Super Cup Finals Will Be Played In Riyadh Again!

The Spanish Super Cup is back, and it’s happening right here in Riyadh from January 10 to 14. This tournament will feature football giants Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, and the newcomer Osasuna.

The knockout stage of the tournament will take place at Riyadh’s Awal Park stadium. The action kicks off on January 10 with a face-off between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, while reigning champion Barcelona takes on Osasuna the next day.

The tournament climaxes on January 14 when the winners go head-to-head in the final match.


This is the fourth time that the Spanish Super Cup finals have been hosted by the Kingdom. The first edition in 2020 was in Jeddah, where Real Madrid claimed victory. They did it again in 2022 in Riyadh, and in 2023, Barcelona took the title.

To set the stage, Real Madrid is the Copa del Rey champion, Barcelona is the Spanish League champion, and Osasuna is making its debut appearance as the cup runner-up. Atlético Madrid, securing third place in Spain’s “La Liga” for the 2022-2023 season, completes the lineup.
