Managed by Emaar, Armani resorts have officially picked Diriyah as their third location for their prestigious and luxurious hotel. The only other resorts are located in Dubai and Milan, making it the second in the entire Middle East, and third worldwide.

Due to its rich heritage and background, the hotel will also be located in the heart of the district with amazing architecture. The entire area will also consist of traditional Najdi architectural designs of low-rise organic architecture, rooftop terraces, large courtyards, and beautifully decorated doors.

Mr. Giorgio Armani will officially design the hotel in accordance to the historical background and significance of the Diriyah district

The official tourism organization for Diriyah, the Diriyah Gate Development, looks to cover a total of seven square meters for tourism projects. Due to its historical significance of the first official capital of the Kingdom, Saudi is hoping to re-vamp the area and attract a total of 100,000 people and 100 hotels. The Diriyah Gate Development also recently announced that the Four Seasons hotel is also in the works.
