Saudi actors have headlined many shows and movies of Hollywood that have totally showcased their outstanding talent

From A-list co-stars to blockbuster moments, these five Saudi actors have made the Kingdom proud with their amazing roles in the Hollywood industry. Scroll down below to read all about these superstars’ rise to fame.

1. Khalil Al-Rawaf

This actor goes way back to 1937, where he was seen as a Bedouiin guard in the classic film ‘I Cover the War!’ alongside Hollywood superstar, John Wayne. Khalil was was born in Qassim, Saudi Arabia and is known to be the first-ever Saudi national to be cast in a Hollywood movie.

2. Dina Shihabi

This definitely isn’t the first time you’ve seen this superstar’s face, since she was featured on the Netflix Original, “Altered Carbon.” Dina also had an amazing role in the 2014 film ‘Amira & Sam,’ and  ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan,” alongside John Krasinski. Dina was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and was raised in Dubai, U.A.E.

3. Aiysha Hart

Aiysha is a British-Saudi actor that made her debut in the BBC TV Shows “Atlantis,”  “Line of Duty,” and “A Discovery of Witches.” Aside from shows, Aiysha has also played amazing roles in films like “Honour” and “Colette.” She was raised in Saudi Arabia and the U.K., where she pursued screenwriting and her passion for acting.

4. Ahd Kamel

Ahd was raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and is best known for her role as Fatima in the BBC’s mini-series “Collateral.” This star is also an alumni from the New York Film Academy, and has directed a couple of films including “The Shoemaker” and “Sanctity”.

5. Maan B.

Maan was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and made it quite big not only in Hollywood, but in the entire gulf!  In 2020 Maan and his brother Yaser B. Co-Directed their first Saudi feature film titled,”Junoon,” shot in Los Angeles and Jeddah, which made it to the Dubai film festival. Their films “The Scapegoat” and “Film School Musical” had also been accepted into the Cannes film festival of 2018, where the brothers got invited by sponsorship of the Saudi Film Council.
