This is BIG! Saudi Women Can Now Register As Train Operators
Saudi women aren’t just gonna be driving cars and cycles anymore, they’ll now be able to operate trains of the Haramain High-Speed Railway. The Saudi Railway Polytechnic (SRP) announced that registration for Saudi women to train in the Haramain Express Train Leaders program is now open.
The Haramain High-Speed Rail runs from Makkah and Madinah and passes through Jeddah and KAEC.

The year-long training program, which will include practical teaching at work locations, will begin on Feb. 15 in Jeddah. Trainees will be paid SR4,000 per month for the first six months, with the possibility of working with Renfe for up to SR8,000 per month after that.
