Hera Shabbir

Hold onto your umbrellas! Thunderstorms are rolling into Saudi Arabia, and it’s going to be a wild ride until Friday.

The Makkah region is in for a drenching, with Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardiyat bracing for heavy rain, hail, flash floods, and some serious winds

The rainy season is finally here, and it’s time to cool off. Different areas of the Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province reason are about to witness some heavy rainfall. Even Turabah might see a light sprinkle.

Over in Riyadh, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Sulayyil, Al-Aflaj, Hawtah Bani Tamim, and Al-Kharj are set for light to moderate rain

But that’s not all! Baha, Asir, Jazan, and Najran are in for a stormy treat with heavy downpours, and the Eastern Province could see some light showers too.

Civil Defense is reminding everyone to avoid valleys and areas prone to flash floods

And, as tempting as it might be, stay out of those flooded areas, no swimming this time!

So, get ready to enjoy the rainy vibes, and keep an eye on the forecast as autumn showers bring a much-needed break from the heat. Stay safe and stay dry!”
