Saudi Arabia is already making a name for itself as one of the world’s premier boxing destinations. The boxing world has been eagerly waiting for Tyson Fury’s fight ever since rumours started doing the rounds that a fight is imminent, with many speculating it to be in Saudi Arabia.
Those rumours can finally be put to rest, as none other than Tyson Fury himself confirmed this. In a video in which Fury is seen working out in a gym, he states “Got some massive, massive news coming. An imminent fight date, an absolutely monstrous fight… Keep tuned because the WBC world heavyweight king is back in action, coming very, very soon.”

It’s still unclear who his opponent will be, though.
This announcement comes just days after Amer Abdallah, the Head of Boxing for Skill Challenge Entertainment in Saudi Arabia, admitted to Boxing King Media that discussions are actively ongoing. He also mentioned that they are talking to everyone—Eddie Hearn and AJ, Deontay, Tyson, and Usyk—the whole shebang!
Interestingly enough, the Evening Standard carried a report that there could also be an Anthony Joshua-Deontay Wilder bout on the same night. This is turning out to be something of epic proportions, so keep your eyes peeled for the imminent fight date!
