Riyadh’s got a new luxe shopping address in the form of Via Riyadh, which already has everyone buzzing. And guess what? It hasn’t even officially opened yet; expect that sometime in the middle of February.

It’s been a while since a new place of this scale has opened in the city (okay, a month to be precise). Yup, Riyadh has set the bar so high. So anyway, here’s what the place is all about:

First up, it will be home to the kingdom’s first St. Regis Hotel. The 83-room hotel is expected to open in the second half of this year.

The place also houses close to two dozen high-fashion boutiques. This is retail therapy in overdrive.

If that isn’t enough, there’s also a swanky cinema where you can unwind after a day of shopping and feasting.

Riyadh’s all about great food, and how can that be missing out here? There will be 17 restaurants, including some of the world’s top fine-dining establishments.
