Visits To The Rawdah In Madinah Have Now Been Limited To JUST Once A Year

Social media was filled with screenshots of people showing that they’re unable to book slots to visit the Rawdah area of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. The error message read that you can only book once a year.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has confirmed that you can only visit the place once a year. This applies only to the Rawdah area and not other parts of the Prophet’s Mosque.

This move aims to streamline access to the site and make access to it possible for the millions who travel from far and wide to visit the place.

If you haven’t visited the place recently, you can book permits to visit it on the Nusuk app. You should ideally be doing this in advance, as slots are hard to get.
