The Magpies, as players of Newcastle United are lovingly called by their fans, has a friendly set against Jeddah’s Al-Ittihad FC today. With the team already in Saudi for the past few days now, many were seen enjoying the place, like in a video that has gone viral players from the squad were spotted performing the mizmar.

Now, the mizmar is a very popular dance in this part of the world normally reserved for special occasions.

Newcastle United playing in Saudi is after all a special occasion too, right?

They went dune bashing in the desert too.

The Magpies have been training in Jeddah for the past few days as part of a warm-weather training camp.

In attendance at one of their recent training sessions were a group of young aspiring footballers from a local football academy. That’s how you inspire those kiddos!
