Worshippers Gather In Makkah For Friday Prayers After Refreshing Rainfall

Hera Shabbir

It was a picture-perfect Friday at the Grand Mosque in Makkah as worshippers gathered for prayers under sparkling, sunny skies. After a few days of heavy rainfall across Makkah and neighboring areas, the city woke up to a fresh, crisp morning that felt like a blessing in itself.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect, as thousands are already flocking to Makkah for Umrah during the busy winter season

This year has been monumental for Saudi Arabia, with over 18 million worshippers welcomed for Hajj and Umrah which is a MAJOR milestone that highlights the Kingdom’s seamless travel systems and well-organized pilgrim services.

The rain was also GORGEOUS this past week…
