For 19-year-old Ethan Guo, flying isn’t just a passion—it’s a mission!

This young Asian-American pilot is on a record-setting solo flight to all seven continents, raising funds for childhood cancer research along the way. His primary mission is to collect $1 million by visiting hospitals and meeting young patients in nearly every country he lands in.

He recently touched down in Riyadh, and is heading next to Doha and Dubai next!

As stated by World Arabia, Ethan absolutely loved the welcoming community of Riyadh and shared, “the hospitality in Riyadh has been incredible. I’m excited to meet more amazing people in the UAE,”. He was also interviewed by Saudi News channel Al Arabiya, where he shared the passion behind his cause. His world-tour mission took on a significant purpose when his cousin was diagnosed with cancer, inspiring him to turn his love for aviation into a fight against the disease. “When my cousin was diagnosed with blood cancer at 18, I knew I had to make a difference. It took six years to convince my mom, but my dad was all in,” he recalls.

Now, Guo’s flying around the world not just to set a record, but to make a real impact in the battle against childhood cancer
