With the debut of its YouTube Music Charts, YouTube is finally giving Saudi artists and musicians the credit they deserve. The charts will bring a weekly localized list of top songs and performers.

Alongside Saudi Arabia, YouTube’s Music Charts have also debuted in the UAE and Egypt. Other Arab nations can expect the charts to launch soon.

There are four different charts that have launched today:

The most played artists will be included in the Top 100 Artists section, while the most popular official music videos will be listed in the Top 100 Music Videos section. The Top 100 Songs playlist will include official music videos, user-generated material, and lyrical videos, as well as the most played songs.

Every Sunday, the Top 100 lists will be refreshed and the Top 20 Trending category will reveal what’s new and hot in music, giving listeners insight into how they’re reacting to new releases.
