Haql Beach

The small town of Haql sits right near the head of the Gulf of Aqaba. Haql is blessed with some of the most pristine waters and the public beach along the corniche makes for a good swim. The coral life in the waters has made the place a popular diving spot as well. Just an FYI, the further you get away from the city the quality of the beach just gets better and better.

Shoaiba Beach

It is like many of the other windswept beaches in the country and is rich with underwater life as well but what this beach is most known for is the mesmerizing shipwreck that lies a few hundred meters from the coast. Some adventurous souls have even swum till the shipwreck and went inside it. But even if you don’t want to that you can still enjoy the calmness and the breathtaking view of the shipwreck. There is also a tourist resort right next to the beach so if you love the place too much and want to spend the night here then you can always head to the resort.

Farasan Al Kabir Beach

The Farasan Islands are known to be home to some of the best diving spots in the world. But what many don’t know about them is that they also have some of the best beaches in the region. Farsan Al Kabir is the largest and most accessible of all the islands within the archipelago. Expect beautiful vistas of vividly blue waters and isolated islands near the coast. You know the island life that they show you in movies, well that is very well possible here.

Umluj Beach

The city of Umluj has an amazing island just off the coast. In fact, this island is part of the 50 islands that are part of the Red Sea Tourism project. From the harbor, a boat can take one to the island for SAR 100.  Virgin beaches, turquoise waters and pretty much no other visitors – it can’t get better than this.
